Lead the next wave of AI at LimeoX. We’re hiring a Senior AI/ML Engineer who will serve as a team lead—owning architecture, mentoring engineers, and turning ideas into production‑ready systems. You’ll work on cutting‑edge projects across Large Language Models (LLMs), custom weightage models, clustering & classification, automation, and AI‑powered workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & mentor a small team of AI/ML engineers: task planning, code reviews, pair programming, and growth coaching.
- Own the technical roadmap & architecture for AI initiatives; translate business goals into measurable milestones and delivery plans.
- Build and fine‑tune weightage models and LLMs to solve real‑world business problems with great research skills.
- Design AI agents & automations and integrate workflows with Google Sheets/Docs via Apps Script.
- Develop custom prediction models; run comparative experiments and A/B tests to select the most effective approaches.
- Apply clustering and classification to discover patterns, generate insights, and support decision‑making.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines (ETL) and system integrations for training and deployment; implement feature stores where needed.
- Collect/scrape and preprocess data ethically using tools like Selenium and Playwright.
- Deploy, monitor, and continuously retrain models; establish MLOps best practices (CI/CD, model registry, observability, drift detection).
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product and operations; communicate trade‑offs, risks, and results clearly to stakeholders.
- Manage real‑time project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and alignment with business goals.
Requirements
- At least 3–4 years of professional AI/ML experience after completing a graduate degree, with hands-on delivery of models to production.
- Strong Python skills and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit‑learn.
- Demonstrated experience with weightage‑based algorithms and LLM fine‑tuning.
- Solid understanding of clustering & classification techniques and their evaluation.
- Proficiency in automation via Google Apps Script.
- Knowledge of web scraping tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) and data preprocessing.
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB); solid SQL and schema design.
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming and multi‑threading.
- Leadership qualities: has led projects/teams, mentored engineers, managed delivery timelines, and set engineering standards.
- Strong research skills, bias toward ownership, and the ability to work independently.
- A first‑principles thinker who frames problems well and communicates trade‑offs.
- Strong knowledge of GPU and computer hardware (both local and virtual environments) for training, optimization, and scaling.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure ML).
- Contributions to open‑source AI/ML projects.
- Working knowledge of MLOps practices (Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, model registry, feature stores, monitoring, A/B testing).
- Hands‑on experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, pgvector, Pinecone) and LLM evaluation frameworks.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: 150,000 – 250,000 PKR/month
